Description
Bert Henningson, Jr. grew up on a farm east of Graceville, Minnesota. In this oral history, he discusses his political activism and career in agriculture and politics. He discusses the National Farmers Organization and his time working for Representative Bob Bergland and Representative Rick Nolan. He discusses the Department of Agriculture, the tractorcade protest by the American Agriculture Movement, Groundswell, the farm foreclosures of the 1980s, and farm politics.
