Abstract

This short record series consist mainly of print materials--bulletins, pamphlets, reports--emanating from various federal agencies and private foundations. Most of the records date from the 1970s. Of special note are the materials from the HECB (Higher Education Coordinating Board) in records Southwest State University in Marshall and its present and future status. There are weekly publications from the Energy Research and Development Administration group based in Washington D.C. Many of the publications pertain to sustainable energy sources in the 1970s. Another folder titled "Energy," materials in that folder pertain to the early discussions in the U of MN system about cutting energy consumption and how to conserve energy. Further materials include pamphlets on Fulbright-Hays scholarships and other graduate studies opportunities. There are flyers about the various grant opportunities from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
