Introduction of Television into Stevens County Oral History Project

This collection contains oral histories pertaining to the introduction and history of television in Stevens County. This collection was donated by Dr. Harold E. Hinds, Jr. and the histories were collected in 1995 as part of Hinds' "US Television in Historical and Cultural Context: Approaches to Its Study" course at the University of Minnesota Morris

The digitization and transcription of these oral histories was made possible in part by the people of Minnesota through a grant funded by an appropriation to the Minnesota Historical Society from the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
