Abstract

This subseries contains a variety of items from the Vice-Chancellor of Student Affairs' office, including but not limited to applications for grants, memos and reports regarding building construction, costs, planning, and performance. The majority of materials involve Title III, IV, and VI planning, grant applications, reports, correspondence, and performance from the 1980s.

Of special interest are the diagrams and plans as well as the grant applications for the phases of construction of the library and the physical education building, starting in 1963. The report of a survey conducted in 1985 to ascertain the public's knowledge and perception of the University of Minnesota Morris is also interesting, as are the 1966 grant application for modernizing the machines in the language laboratory and the folder, "Title III Strengthening Program Grant," which was designed to encourage the use of micro-computers among faculty, to rework the fund-raising process and to help in the redesign the General Education curriculum.
