We have been doing some careful strategic thinking about UMM's future during the past months. The entire University of Minnesota system has been working on a strategic plan, as has our campus, and, in addition, we are searching for a new chancellor. I find it strange, and unexpected, that as an impending retiree I'm thinking so much about what is to come, and so little about what has been!
