Abstract
There has long been a necessity for a state science teachers organization oriented to elementary and secondary science teaching needs. It has become, in recent years, even more urgent with the multiplicity of problems confronting science education on all levels. Ultimately, solution to these problems will require the participation and cooperation of science teachers in all areas of scientific endeavor.
