Abstract
There is every likelihood that there will be a great expansion in American education, particularly at the college level, after the end of the present war. In addition to the normal flow of students who will be prepared to enter the higher institutions and whose education has not been interrupted by the war, there will be the tremendous backlog of those for whom the war has constituted an interruption or a delay in their formal education.
