Journal of the Minnesota Academy of Science (Journals)

The Journal of the Minnesota Academy of Science (JMAS) was a peer-reviewed, open access academic journal featuring research from all disciplines. The journal was published by the Minnesota Academy of Science from 1873 to 2016 as part of its mission to recognize, influence, and promote excellence in science.

JMAS formerly accepted original research in all areas of science, as well as review articles, cross-disciplinary reviews, and articles describing the teaching or mentoring of science at all levels in both academic and non-academic settings.

In an effort to recognize excellent research by students, the Minnesota Academy of Science launched the Journal of Student Research in 2013.

PLEASE NOTE: the Minnesota Academy of Science IS NO LONGER publishing the Journal of the Minnesota Academy of Science (JMAS).
