Description
This session introduces digital concept maps and infographics that engage students and allow for formative assessment of understanding. Formative assessment is a research-based effective teaching and learning strategy, documented to increase student achievement and to help inform teachers' instruction. Throughout this session several digital tools that help students create concept maps and infographics will be modeled; all allow both students and teachers to formatively assess student understanding and determine next steps in learning. Free, online tools that do not require an account will be emphasized. BYOD session.
